God’s plan of Salvation

God’s plan of Salvation

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord”  (Romans 6:23)

†  Every person needs to be saved:

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God”  (Romans 3:23)

    No one can save themselves:

“Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us…” (Titus 3:5)

God has provided a way to save us:

“But God commendeth His love toward us, in that , while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us”  (Rom.5:8)

How to have salvation

Admit that you are a sinner

If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a lair, and His word is not in us”  (1John 1:10)

Repent and turn away from your sins

And saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel

      (Mark 1:15)

Believe that Jesus died for you, was buried, and rose from the dead.

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God raised

him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”  (Romans 10:9)

Invite Jesus into your life to be your Saviour & pray to God daily.

“For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness: and with the mouth confession is made unto

      salvation.” (Romans 10:10)

Attend a Bible-Believing Church where the Bible has final authority & read your Bible

       daily.

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for

instruction in righteousness.”  (II Timothy 3:16)

Follow the Lord in believer’s baptism

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of

      the Holy Spirit.” (Matthew 28:19)
